Justin Blake Rose
Justin was born on September 6, 2000 to Duane and Amy Rose. Justin and his brother, Devin grew up on their family farm, “Rose Farms” in the Harmony community of Washington County. Justin loved Jesus and wasn’t afraid to tell people that he was a born again Christian. He attended Cornerstone Fellowship Church in Fall Branch. Raising and showing Salers beef cattle was his passion. He took great pride in his cattle. He held both the Premier Breeder and Premier Exhibitor titles at the 2016 Eastern Nationals in Louisville , KY. He loved nothing more than being in the show barn with his family and friends. Justin’s family also ran the riding stables at Warrior’s Path State Park for many years. Starting at a very young age, Justin worked and rode along side of his dad and brother, day in and day out. He assisted in the care of the facility, the horses and tack, as well as leading and guiding trail rides to many people. He attended Sulphur Springs Elementary/Middle School where he was chosen as the 2014-15 Homecoming King. Justin was a Sophomore at Daniel Boone High School at the time of his passing, where he was a member of Washington County 4-H and the Daniel Boone FFA. He was a part of the livestock judging team, and took great pride in it. Justin was a phenomenal young man. His smile and laughter were contagious. Everyone that knew him, Loved him. He never met a stranger.
Justin was called home to be with his Heavenly Father on February 8, 2017 from injuries that he sustained in an automobile accident on February 3rd. During his time in the hospital, there were hundreds of visitors, there was much love shown, there was a great amount of togetherness, many tears were shed, many stories were told, and lots of laughter rang out in honor of Justin. Most importantly, there were many many prayers said, by his family, friends, and even strangers. It was the greatest show of support that I personally have ever witnessed. Justin left behind a remarkable testimony. In this time of sorrow, many people came to know Jesus Christ as their personal savior. A tragedy turned to a Blessing. Our hearts may always be broken here on Earth, but what a joyous day it will be...When we all get to Heaven!
